📡 Amateur Radio Trivia Night – Test Your RF Brain!

Think you know your way around the bands? Reckon you can tell your FT8 from your RTTY by ear, or remember what “73” really means without Googling it? Come along to the St George Amateur Radio Society Inc Trivia Night and put your knowledge to the test!

This fun and friendly club event is designed for all levels of amateur radio operators — from newly licensed hams to seasoned DX chasers and RF gurus. The night will feature four rounds of questions covering everything from operating practices and ham culture to propagation, antennas, satellites, and the occasional obscure bit of radio history. Expect a mix of easy, technical, and “only an Advanced would know that” questions!

We’ll also have some interactive bonus rounds, including signal identification and a few curveballs to keep things interesting. Teams can work together, so it’s a great opportunity to learn something new, share knowledge, and have a few laughs along the way.

Whether you’re competitive or just keen for a social night with fellow radio enthusiasts, this is a great chance to get involved. Bring a team or join one on the night — all are welcome.
