"Everything You Want to Know About the Future of Amateur Radio in VK, and Then Some" is the title for what should be a very interesting and topical presentation to be given by WIA Director, Roger Harrison VK2ZRH, at The St George Amateur Radio Society April gathering.

Roger’s presentation will look at the government's Spectrum Reform program, which will see a new Radiocommunications Act that will change the whole landscape of licensing, competition for and access to spectrum, and its use, the allocation of frequency bands, and the regulation of users and applications. Hear how the Wireless Institute of Australia has responded to this "perfect storm" of challenging change with an "insider's view" of what might be ahead.

Also Roger will give an insight on the reforms being undertaken of the WIA National Office operations, in preparation for the new landscape of Amateur Radio licencing and licence conditions.

Roger will also be available to answer questions from members and visitors at The St George Amateur Radio Society clubrooms, Donnelly Park, Kyle Parade, Connells Point near South Hurstville, on Wednesday 6th April 2016 commencing at 7.30 PM.
