Volunteer Operators Needed

Every October, thousands of Scouts and Guides around the world take part in Jamboree on the Air (JOTA), the world's largest Scouting communications event.

At the 2026 Boree Regatta, the St George Amateur Radio Society (SGARS) will once again provide an amateur radio station where young people can talk with other Scouts and Guides across Australia—and often around the world, over the weekend Friday 16th, Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th October 2026.
