Intent: The intention of The St George Amateur Radio Society (SGARS) 80 metre Contest is for amateur radio operators to prepare for the annual Remembrance Day Contest following in August.
When: The last Saturday in July, 18:00 to 00:00 Midnight local (AEST) – total of 6 hours, in one hourly blocks, e.g. 18.00 to 18.59, 19.00 to 19.59, etc.
Who: The SGARS 80 metre Contest is open to all VK and ZL amateur radio. The contest is open only to single operation, non-assisted stations. Multi-operator stations are not permitted. Operators must use their normal callsign such as VK#ABC - 2, 3 or 4 letter callsigns.
