At the May SGARS gathering, Richard VK2VD will be sharing his experience with constructing a 23cm transceiver for Amateur Radio.

"My thoughts, considerations and experiences on the construction of a 23cm NBFM transceiver with full coverage of the 23cm band with many other inbuilt features found on commercially built radios at a fraction of the cost and with the satisfaction of building it yourself. This project was originally designed and published by Bas De Jong PE1JPD of the Netherland in 2015. I will also discuss amplifiers, antennas, coaxial cable and filters suitable to set up a successful station for 23cm operation."
