Every year, SGARS members generously donate their time to make JOTA possible.

Whether you're experienced in contesting, portable operation, antennas, digital modes or simply enjoy introducing newcomers to amateur radio, we'd love your assistance.

Volunteers may assist with:

• Station operation
• Logging
• Mentoring youth members
• Fox hunting
• Setting up antennas
• Safety supervision
• Demonstrations
• Pack-up

Requirements

• Licensed Amateur Radio Operator (all qualification levels welcome)
• Friendly attitude
• Enjoy working with young people
• Available for part or all of the weekend
